GETTING STARTED
A simple process for senders and travelers
Travelers: Post your upcoming travel plans with destination, dates, and available space.
Senders: Browse active travel plans to find someone going your route.
Senders: Post your package details, route, and delivery needs for travelers to discover.
Travelers: Browse package requests and accept ones that match your travel plans. This method is perfect for privacy-conscious travelers who prefer not to share their itineraries publicly but are willing to help with deliveries.
Families: Post your parent's itinerary (route, date, flight, and the kind of help that would ease the journey) to find a kind traveler heading the same way.
Travelers: Browse companion requests and, if you can help, reach the family directly using the contact details they shared.
A free, goodwill feature — not a professional care, medical, or escort service. Families keep full responsibility for their parent. See our Safety & Trust guide and Travel Companion page for details.
Once a potential match is found (either a sender finds a traveler's plan or a traveler sees a delivery request), use our secure in-app chat to discuss the details. This includes package specifics, pickup/dropoff logistics, and finalizing the compensation.
Note: Many travelers offer to help for free. Others may request a small contribution — it's up to both of you to agree.
After agreeing on all terms, the sender hands over the package to the traveler. The traveler then transports the package to the destination. Upon successful delivery and confirmation from both parties, the process is complete.
TravelCargo facilitates this connection but reminds users to adhere to all local and international shipping regulations.
